More than just a book!

Bushbuddies is an interactive, hands-on project that teaches children and their parents about the NZ forest and nature in an innovative and fun way. In a time when there's more focus on environmental issues than ever before, Bushbuddies is an excellent way to introduce Kiwi children to ecology, conservation and the values that will protect our precious green New Zealand image.

The Bushbuddies project also teaches children problem-solving, goal-setting and most of all how to have fun. Bushbuddies is a healthy mix of facts and fantasy with a cast of humorous characters, designed to motivate our children's love of nature.

The books are the start of the project, with the first two already available in our BB shop There are many more books in the making with new characters and new topics in every book.

In addition to the books there will be games, music CD's and craft works created, either for download from the Internet or for purchase in local shops. Every item will be carefully designed to be a high quality, environmental friendly, and educational tool to engage children in different age groups.

Also a clothing range is being developed with unique reversible garments inspired by our native forest.

The ultimate goal is to have the Bushbuddies screened on TV in weekly episodes and a feature movie displaying all aspects of our beautiful country in one big fantastic Bushbuddies adventure.

Bushbuddies is a pure New Zealand brand, designed and manufactured in our country and for our children. Next to that Bushbuddies has great potential to become an innovative export medium.
