I am Muddum,
the Bushbuddy
of the ground crawlers also
known as earth-worms.
I can tell you anything you'd like
to know about them.
I am already very old and can't walk
anymore. When Bushbuddies get older they
dissapear slowly into their environment until
you can't see them anymore. Most bushbuddies don't really mind,
but I am quite sad about it. The place where I got stuck is very dark
and I can't look at the stars at night, like I used to.
I also used to be a great singer and
all the nature around me loved to hear my voice so much.
I love having company to talk to because the worms
do not talk back to me, so talking with them is not much of a conversation.
In my former days, when I was still young, I
was really beautiful.
Now there are mushrooms growing on
my face and I get very muddy, especially when it is rainy.
Because of all this I can get really
grumpy at times.
I can be friendly too when I am happy
but lately I am not happy very often.
I like it when Fern comes to see me.
She is lovely and cheers me up.
What I wish for most
is to see the stars at night again.
